The Easter Triduum (“3 days”) of the passion and resurrection of Jesus is the culmination of the entire liturgical year. The Triduum begins with the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, reaches its high point in the Easter Vigil, and closes with evening prayer on Easter Sunday. All Catholics should attend these three ceremonies during the Holiest week of the Church year.
HOLY TRIDUUM (“3 DAYS”) SCHEDULE:
Holy Thursday – April 21
7:00pm – Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed by Adoration until 10:00pm.
Note: 5:00pm – Spanish Mass of the Lord’s Supper in the parish hall.
Good Friday – April 22
11:00am –Spanish Outdoor Way of the Cross (behind church)
3:00pm – Celebration of The Lord’s Passion
3:00pm – Spanish Celebration of the Lord’s Passion in the parish hall.
Holy Saturday – April 23
Easter Vigil– Mass of the Resurrection – 8:00pm (English & Spanish)
We will receive new members into the church during this celebration.
Note: The church requires that the Easter Vigil is to begin after nightfall.
Easter Sunday – April 24
Mass of the Resurrection: 9:00 and 11:00am; 6:00pm
