Dress in red!
This weekend we will celebrate the Feast of Pentecost which ends the seven weeks of the Easter Season, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles. This marks the first Christian community in Jerusalem, celebrating the birthday of our Church. The Easter candle which has remained lit at all Masses as a reminder of our Baptism will no longer be regularly lit as a sign that the Easter Season now comes to an end. Everyone is asked to dress in redwhen you come to Mass next weekend in honor of Pentecost.
