The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal organization. From the moment of founding in 1882, charity has been the first principle of what the Knights of Columbus do. Knights of Columbus are men of faith and men of action, answering Pope Francis's cal to go to the periphery. Charitable donations and service is being done whether half-way around the globe or next door. In all places, Knights of Columbus will be found.
Charitable activities encompass an immense variety of loca, national and international projects. Projects include but are not limited to:
We undertake acts of charity because we see those in need through the eyes of faith. Moreover, as members of the Knights of Columbus, we approach these acts of charity together. In 2015, the K of C increased monetary donations to a new record of $175,079,192. Service provided through members reached 73.5 million man-hours.
In order to continue providing both funds and services to those in faith who need, new members are needed. Men 18 years or older are needed in our parish K of C council to meet and continue our efforts. Men can make a difference to our community as an active member. Together much can be accomplished.
