Benediction is a Special Divine Blessing. We, the members of the community of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, are privileged to adore the true presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ, during Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on the first Friday of each month. We will now be blessed to attend Benediction every first Friday at 5:30 PM, which lasts for about 15 minutes. What an awesome way to start the new church year! This is a wonderful opportunity for those of you who are not able to adore Christ during the day because of work or other obligations. Out of respect for Christ and our priests there will be a sign upsheet for those interested. As with Exposition, if there is not enough interest, Benediction will be canceled for that Friday. Benediction will begin this December 3^rd. Please sign up by Wednesday, December 1 for Adoration during the day AND for the 5:30 PM Benediction.
